Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make the robot vacuum worth the cost, particularly for those who have large homes. This means that you don't have empty the bin more than times during a run that keeps it running more often, and keeps your floors clean.
Its Lidar navigation does an excellent job of mapping, and you can use the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. But it didn't avoid obstacles like shoes or furniture legs, as well as the j7 and Q Revo.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. The Combo J7+ combines the excellent iRobot j7 robot vacuum and adds a water reservoir as well as a robotic arm that raises and lowered mopping mats, and new sensors. The result is a highly powerful two-in-one cleaner that we've found to be superior to other non-mopping robot vacuums.
The Combo J7+ does not have the smart mopping features found in our top choice, but it still does an excellent job of cleaning. It comes with a highly efficient brush roll that can be used on both hard floors and carpeted rooms. It can be able to get between furniture and rugs without difficulty even on steep staircases. And it has a strong suction that we were very impressed with, even though it'sn't as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.
The Combo J7+ is distinguished from other robot vacuums because of mopping, which uses an oscillating brush to scrub floors. SmartScrub is the feature iRobot refers to, and it emulates the way mops scrub a floor. It can be turned on by room within the iRobot app.
The J7 Plus is simple to set up and use just like other iRobot Robots. It is also simple to maintain. Both the dust bin and the water tank can be taken out for easy cleaning. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos on how to maintain the different elements of the machine. For example, replacing the mopping pad and filtering the water tank.
The only issue is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mop if you have mopping pads and its 210ml water tank is full. If either of those is missing, it just vacuums. You can easily monitor the water tank via the iRobot app, and when it's low you'll get an email to refill it.
2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is a low-cost robot that does an excellent job at mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is particularly impressive, especially for the cost. It is able to mop well on hard floors and carpets, picking up fine to extra-large debris (think hair tangles, Kitty litter, cereals of all sizes). It also does an excellent job of cleaning up dry spills and messes. It also cleans stairs and other difficult-to-get-stuck areas well.
The mopping system uses an elongated pad that rotates to scrub your floors using water to lift dirt and grime, even on spots that are stuck. The pad is also dried thoroughly by 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning to prevent the growth of mold and unpleasant odors. You can control the robot via the Roborock App or your voice to begin mopping or change settings, and much more.
The vacuuming is also top-quality. It has a powerful suction and high-efficiency filters that remove small to large particles effortlessly. The only drawback is that it's not as effective on carpets that have pet hair. Ten percent of pet hair was still on the test surface after two cycles at maximum power, which isn't uncommon in the world of vacuuming.
The Q Revo is a great product that is able to provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has excellent mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as effective as the higher-end robot vacuum and mop, however, it's a great choice for anyone who is on a budget. Plus, it charges up to 30% faster than its predecessors and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. That's a lot of convenience for a tiny amount of money. Read our full review of the Roborock Q Revo for more details and to determine whether it's a good fit for you.
3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is inexpensive and comes with numerous excellent features. It is easy to set up and takes only five minutes. After removing the protective plastic and manufacturing tape, you can scan the QR code on the app to begin. The app is simple and guides you through the process in a simple manner. Once configured, the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app lets you modify your home's layout and create maps that the robot will follow. The app lets you divide rooms into smaller segments to allow them to be targeted more precisely. You can make an outline of the kitchen and another for the living room. The robot will then sweep the floors at different times in each room.
The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots I've tried. It is an industrial look. The base station has more modularity than other robots, featuring the dirty-water tank and autoempty feature on one side and the vacuum on another. The mop pads that are reusable are also distinct. They fit into the top of robot and are attached to a handle in the front, making it easy to remove and refill.
The vacuum is as efficient as any other robot I've tested and comes with two side brushes in addition to the single brush in most models. self emptying vaccum expands the vacuum's coverage area and decreases the possibility of debris being lost around walls and furniture. It has some issues with object recognition and is more likely to get into objects like the tassel carpet in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is a great option for maintaining your floors. It does an excellent job and keeps them looking fantastic. It isn't able to vacuum like other hybrids, and it is unable to transfer from hard floors to carpets or rugs. However, due to its long battery life and its smart mopping features, this robot is an ideal option for small and mid-sized homes.
It operates in dry sweeping mode too cleaning up to 1000 square feet on a single charge. It can also map your floor plan with the iRobot App and clean your rooms in a series by using compatible Roomba Vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to watch, and it was able to take on even the toughest dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It can be set up to use less water or more than the maximum amount set by the app.
The iRobot app is one of the top available and allows you to sync with your home wi-fi easy. It has many user-friendly features including scheduling, partitioning rooms, and establishing no-go zones. This gives you complete control over the device. It also shows how much power is left in the battery so you know how long it will last before it has to be recharged or docked. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK or at the iRobot Store in the US for just $399 and on Amazon (where the M6 is currently on sale). It is available in graphite and white.
5. Shark RV2610WA
The cost of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is a big problem. They are easy to use, but expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA Self-Empty base, which we've reviewed in this article costs $699 / PS559 / around $1054. If you don't want the charging base, it'll cost $549 / PS395 / roughly $675.
The Shark RV2610WA is a good choice for anyone who needs an omni-functional robot that can handle both mopping and vacuuming. It can also deep clean stubborn stains using the stain-lifting tool included in the package. The app allows you to program the machine to clean your floors on a certain day and time, and it is equipped with a smart feature that lets you control your robot even when you're not at home.
The Shark vacuum cleaner is effective at vacuuming and can pick up most debris. However, it's not as efficient on carpets. It's not difficult for pet hair to be trapped in the brushroll and its dirt bin can quickly fill up. It has a few parts that require regular maintenance and replacement. This could result in ongoing costs.
For the price, there are better options available. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on carpets that are not bare and with high pile. It's more durable and has a bigger dust bin and is able to maneuver around obstacles such as electrical cords better. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra cost if you require a cleaner that does both jobs effortlessly.
